Course Description

This course builds upon the basic database principles learned in Database Concepts (10-152-331), further exploring database design/normalization and introducing more complex and varied SQL statements. Learners will create ERDs, create/modify tables and populate/retrieve data using SQL scripts with Microsoft SQL Server. Additional topics include: many-to-many relationships, composite primary keys, referential integrity, stored procedures, triggers and database security.
