Overview/Purpose
Now that you have the network infrastructure planned, the routers and switches configured, and your IP configuration setup on your campus's Domain Controller, it is time to start building your Cisco unified communications servers. This includes the Cisco Unified Communications Manager server (CUCM - the phone server), Cisco Unity Connection server (CUCS - the voice mail server), and Cisco Unified Presence server (CUPS – the presence server).
Learning objectives:
- Manage virtual machines using ESXi 5.1
- Install Cisco administrative interfaces: CUCM, CUCS, CUPS
