Attacks can infiltrate into your computer system quite easily from numerous places and can damage your files and negatively affect system performance.  Even though this is not a good thing, it can be fixed and then life goes on.  However, if an attack is made to your personal information, then you, not your computer, can be damaged for a very long time.

Learn to be cautious.

When you are on the Internet or reading your E-mail you are alone in a dangerous world. 

YOU have to learn to be cautious and defensive. 

YOU have to learn to be a smart Internet user and not be technically naïve.  

YOU have to learn to take each E-commerce transaction as a potential breach of your security.

If they are phishing for you don't bite!
